A couple of days ago, I saw this scene in the sky as I stood in front of my house while my youngest son waited for the bus. Mornings at my house start at 6:00 and they are a blur of activity until I'm in my truck on the way to the office and that starts blur phase 2. It was good to pause for a moment and think. What I saw in that scene was the moon still shining down. I saw the trees ready to drop their leaves for the season, and yet there's the jet stream put there in a different way. The scene reminds me that all human achievement piled in one pile, is still overshadowed by the incredible hand of God.
For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD;
I sing for joy at the works of your hands.
How great are your works, O LORD,
how profound your thoughts!
(Psalm 92:4-5)
I was blessed to spend some time with brothers this week who encouraged me in a huge way. They see God's hand in an effort that's important to me. Mid-West Leadership Training for Christ is getting underway for this fall. Cant' wait to see what God does with the Journey of Faith from Genesis.
