Why?

I’m going into my 16th year of working on the LTC effort in the Midwest. That’s given me time to think about why we do this thing quite a bit.
Here is why we do NOT do LTC:  to get awards, to get a program right, to demonstrate that we follow rules. No!  There is a necessary structure of guidance—but it’s a means to a much greater end.
  • It’s about people, God’s people.
  • It’s a bout God’s kids stretching themselves to do more than they thought they could.
  • It’s about working hard at doing something to benefit others. It’s about caring about each other.
  • It’s about prying time away from very temporary things to focus on eternal things.
  • It’s about youth willing leaders to seasoned leaders to learn from them.
  • It’s about giving so that others can grow.
I just can’t wait to see what God does with mwLTC next!

Go #beyondLTC!!
