Mr. Melvin Maynard

Mr. Melvin Leo Maynard, age 71 of Clarkridge passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Pine Lane Therapy. Melvin Maynard was born February 15, 1941 in Henderson, Arkansas to Martin and Bessie Lee (Messick) Maynard. He married Martha Jane Cox December 29, 1963 in Mountain Home. Mr. Maynard served in the US Air Force. He was a member of the Local American Legion Post #52 and the Oakland Church of Christ.
Mr. Melvin Leo Maynard is survived by his wife Martha Jane Maynard of the home, two sons; Russell Maynard (Kimberly) of Kokomo, Indiana, Ronald Maynard of Clarkridge, two daughters; Rebekah Friberg (Bob) of Green River, Wyoming, April Maynard of Mountain Home, five grandchildren; Austin Maynard, Logan Maynard, Dylan Maynard, Bethany Friberg, and Paul Friberg, three brothers; Jimmy Maynard, Bobby Maynard, and Ricky Maynard. Also surviving is a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Mr. Maynard will be Noon – 9 PM Monday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday in the Oakland Church of Christ with Brother Rusty Maynard and Brother Wayne Camp officiating. Burial will be in Quality Ridge Cemetery in Mountain Home. Memorials may be made to the Paragould Children’s Home.
