Building the Faith
I found an article I wrote last year about this time about having faith. It was about the disciples not having faith in the storm in the boat and questioning whether we have the faith we should have. What I wrote is true, but I’d write it different a year later. It’s easier to talk about faith, ask about faith, even challenge about faith, than to have faith in life’s storms. That’s why I’m excited about the coming months in the children’s ministry and in the LTC ministry. We are working to build faith. It’s often the preferred mode of humans to deconstruct. But criticism is usually an outlet of fear. But to build—that’s what we want—and it’s easier said than done. To have the trusting faith of a child—that’s something special. I’m looking forward to building, constructing, progress in 2012. Can’t wait to see what God does!
