- The MHA Dinner was a wonderful success. I couldn't begin to adequately thank all the helpers and contributors by name. We believe we fed 232 people (elder count) including ourselves. We had threatening weather just before dinner was to be served, which hurt us a bit, but not much. I love it when the church family joins hands to do something incredible like this. I love it when people are so engaged in the work that I'm more in the way than helpful. The MHA appreciates this church so much, and they sent a card which is posted by the office.
- I'm thankful and excited that Aaron Diceston "went to the water" as he puts it - he accepted Jesus in baptism last Sunday after services. Aaron and his family are on a special journey of faith, and we are thrilled to travel with them.
- We start our next quarter on December 4th. Please tell our children and preteen teachers and class leaders how much we appreciate them. They are helping our kids BUILD the FAITH.
- I was shown tremendous kindness by the church last Sunday. Regarding the tools on the stage, I did have a special request to mention of the belt sander that I can be abrasive, and that just as the job of a vacuum cleaner is to suck - that describes how I do a lot of things. So there, John.
- I'm very encouraged by the interest and willingness to take the Journey of Faith with mwLTC. The forms and such will be in the Lobby. I moved my mailbox to the lobby for convenience. I hope and pray that every family of 3rd-12th graders will join us for the Journey!

Thanksgiving
I am very blessed this Thanksgiving, and I have a few special things for which I'm thankful and wish to pass them along. God has blessed me to be able to serve with a special congregation of His people - and I never cease to be amazed at His working here.
